I'm so excited to share this journey with you.
My name is Ebony, creator of Thee Twilight Sage and author of the Princess Aroha's Journey series. This space was created to celebrate storytelling, imagination, culture, and the magic that lives within all of us.
Stories have always been a way to connect people across generations. Through Princess Aroha's adventures, I hope to inspire young readers to explore the beauty of Aotearoa, learn new Māori words, and discover the courage, kindness, and wisdom that already exist within their own hearts.
The first book, Princess Aroha and the Sleeping Giant, follows Princess Aroha and her loyal horse Hine as they journey to the sacred mountain of Mauao. When an ancient giant awakens, Aroha must rely on bravery, friendship, and the guidance of the stars to restore peace to the land.
This is only the beginning. Future adventures will take Princess Aroha across Aotearoa to explore lakes, forests, mountains, and the stories that connect us to the whenua and to each other.
